Avast Supports Opening of New Free English Classes
Avast Foundation, established by Avast – a global leader in digital security and privacy products – has donated US$10,000 to support the FY2020 operating costs of the free English-language program called “English Drive” and to open a new school in Adachi-ku, Tokyo. In addition, Japan-based employees will volunteer their support for English classes and career education as well as offer classes on cyber security.
The “English Drive” project offers free English-language classes at seven locations in Tokyo and Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture with the hopes of making the future brighter for children from households struggling with poverty.
